8-week aerial hammock techniques course. No choreographed routine, no Week 8 performance.
Term 3 starts the week of 9 May 2022.
This aerial hammock techniques class builds on fundamentals and hones fundamental hammock moves and transitions in preparation for level 1 hammock choreography courses in our studio.
Each class will progressively exercise and refine key hammock moves, transitions and combinations, in addition to essential conditioning and strength building to help you improve your aerial skills and execute them with greater precision, fluidity and better lines.
While there is no choreography in this course, learned moves will be combined into short sequences to exercise rhythm and flow.
Level 1 includes invert combinations (hip hangs, diamond inversions), binds, upright spinning combinations and leg hangs.
Prerequisites: Completed Hammock Choreo Beginners or the equivalent of an introductory level aerial hammock course.
