Not your average flexibility class, specially designed for pole/dancers.
This 8-week mat-based course goes beyond basic stretches and focuses on greater body awareness and the nuances needed to help you unlock greater range, and access the activations required for achieving flatter/longer lines and better torsion as a dancer.
Using blocks and resistance bands, you will work towards opening your splits, deepening your forward folds/straddles and unlocking shoulder and back mobility, to prepare and improve the way you execute tricks and moves in pole and aerial classes.
This class is the ideal complement to any pole/dance class at every level, and is suitable for newbies as well as seasoned dancers, as moves can be modified to cater to different progression stages.
There are no prerequisites and first-timers of all flexibility levels are welcome. There are no pole tricks involved in this class.
Attire: Tee/tank top, leggings, socks. Please bring your own yoga mat, personal towel and stretch bands/straps (if you have them). Blocks will be provided.
Classes are one hour per week for 8 consecutive weeks, and Term 5 runs from 25 August to 19 October 2025.
Classes can be booked as a full 8-week term course (from the drop-down menu above), or as individual drop-in classes if your schedule prevents you from committing to the full 8 weeks.
