It's Breathe's 5th birthday! And you're invited to join the Breathe Dance Crew IN OUR STUDIOS on 4 May as we celebrate with our annual Pineapple Party tradition of FREE classes.
We want as many happy pineapples in our community as possible to participate in celebrating our birthday with us, so...
IMPORTANT - MUST READ BEFORE BOOKING:
- All Pineapple Party classes are free to attend, but you MUST be a student of Breathe Dance Co to sign up (i.e. you must be currently enrolled or have previously enrolled in a full 8-week term course with us).
- All classes are 60min in duration and have finite, limited spaces.
- In the spirit of letting as many folks as possible partake in the fun, we ask that you limit your booking to just one class per person.
- For Double Trouble, please have ONE PERSON make the booking for each duo (i.e. don't have both partners make individual bookings).
- If you're unable to make it for your class, please find a replacement and inform us at least 48 hours in advance. Spaces are in demand so please don't deprive others of a spot by not showing up.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL ANY BOOKINGS THAT FAIL TO PLAY NICE AS PER WHAT IS STATED ABOVE.
CLASS DESCRIPTIONS/PREREQUISITES:
- 3.30pm (SPIN #08-04): Double Trouble (Level 2) - Grab a buddy and come pretzel with Meiting and Tas! Getting into the poses is always a comedy but the final product will be Instagram-worthy! Prerequisites: Completed Pole Tech 2 and can get into a Superman.
- 3.30pm (TWIRL #07-07): Retro-Robics (Open) - Dig out your leotards, legwarmers, headbands and come for a rollicking good time with Oma to some bangin' '80s hits! This class has everything you never knew you needed. You will be learning iconic aerobics/dancercise moves from Thriller, Flashdance, Footloose and more! Laughs guaranteed at this calorie blasting party - don't be afraid to show up in your most ‘orbit’ outfit. Open to all levels, no prior experience required.
- 4.35pm (SPIN #08-04): Barbie T-Dance Party (Level 1 Heels) - Pretty and precocious in PINK! T-Dance Party is back with a fun and poppy number from the Barbie movie soundtrack for those of you who wanna pirouette and prance in your heels. Come dressed in your Barbie best. Prerequisites: Completed a level 1 heels-based choreography and comfortable with a basic walk and turn in heels.
- 4.35pm (TWIRL #07-07): Mambo Jambo Sabai Edition (Open) - Sawasdee ka! Get ready to groove and wriggle with Tiffany in this class! From discombobulating hand movements to lively footwork, you'll be a Mambo master while laughing your way through every step. No experience necessary, just bring your sense of humour and get ready to dance like nobody's watching. Khob khun ka!
